Programmes for David Bingham
» Books - 'Important Books In My Life - Edition 1' - David Bingham interview by Eleonora Gilbert
The first two programmes in a new series where guests talk about books that were important to them on their spiritual journey.
» Other - David Bingham -'Art and Self Realisation' - Interview by Renate McNay
David is an Artist and had his first experience of the timeless realm when looking at a painting by David Hockney when studying art in Art School. The highest purpose of art is to reveal the Self. He demonstrates how art can lead to Self-Realisation without the need for spiritual beliefs or practices and shows examples of paintings which can activate the experience of silence and stillness in the viewer. He also talks about the acceleration of the Evolution of Consciousness and that Self-Realisation is happening now on a much larger scale. The idea of a dramatic shift is receding and that clear seeing and acceptance of one's ever present Realisation is all that is required.
» Transformations - David Bingham - 'Effortless Being' - Interview by Renate McNay
David is a spiritual guide and has helped many people to realise their True Nature. We did some interviews with David many years ago in the early days of conscious.tv and you can find his story of awakening in those. In this interview he explains how Self Realisation is becoming increasingly easy and that determination is the most important factor in achieving it. He tells us a few stories about some of his students who Woke Up recently. 'Realisation is effortless and is not an experience.' We need to realise that we are already Effortless Being, that's all we can ever be and by resting in it solutions we need will arise from infinite intelligence. He also explains what the biggest obstacle to realise ones Being is and the difference between Self Realisation and Waking Up. He talks about Integration and refinement following Self Realisation and different ways to disengage the Mind and integrate effortless Being into daily experience.
» Advaita - David Bingham - 'Non-Dual Pointing - part 1' - Interview by Iain McNay, part 2 - interview by Renate McNay
In the 'development' of consciousness a point is reached where the distinction between human experience and the knowing of Present-Awareness-Existence becomes clear. This 'development' or 'evolution' is in reality superimposed upon timeless Awareness. Present-Awareness-Existence is the Totality. The Present is disguised by time. Awareness, which is non-conceptual, is disguised by the thinking process. Existence is disguised by identification with the body. Present-Awareness-Existence is what One already is and is fully known. The waking, dreaming and deep sleep states and all other states and experiences simply and effortlessly arise within it. Awareness is presently allowing the knowing of This.
