| Jonathan is co-founder, vocalist and songwriter with the American band Mercury Rev whose seminal album is 'Deserters Songs.' After the release of the band's third album he experienced an opening which completely changed his take on reality, the way he saw life, and the way he wrote and performed songs. 'True creation comes when there is space for it, when there is a letting go of our images and identity. There is also more appreciation of the whole; how everything fits together. The music becomes more like a stream of consciousness.' |
